Network of the Presidents Board Meeting
On Monday 27 May, the Supreme Court was pleased to welcome members of the Network of the Presidents of the Supreme Judicial Courts of the European Union to Ireland. The Chief Justice, who is a vice-president of the network, hosted a meeting of the board of the network at Farmleigh House and Estate in Phoenix Park, Dublin.
The network is an organisation made up of the Presidents of the Supreme Courts of all EU member states and provides a forum through which the Supreme Court Presidents can meet and discuss issues of common interest and exchange ideas. It also acts as an avenue through which European institutions can consult with EU Supreme Courts.
