Complete the paperwork
Inform court office staff that you need - or are considering - an application for an immediate temporary or short-term domestic violence order. Office staff will let you know your options.
Complete an Information form given to you by court office staff. This form sets out the reasons why you need an immediate temporary or short-term domestic violence order. It will help the judge come to a decision.
If a judge grants your application later, the information you have provided to the court will be given to the respondent.
